Glitz & Glamour Holiday Cocktail Party – Bedazzled Outfits

I told you a bit about my friend Tania yesterday and how she inspired me to plan this party.  It was our discussion about wanting an excuse to get all dolled up that spurred the idea for a Glitz & Glamour Holiday Party.  Tania has gorgeous taste. I still drool when I remember her wedding gown – it was simply stunning! Whenever I see her posts come through my Pinterest, I get a bit giddy to see what fashion eye candy she has posted.  That being the case, I figured a little visit to her fashion board was in order to inspire the look of the evening.  I wasn’t disappointed!

2. This dress is no longer available but was found at Tibi
3. Louis Vuitton Spring 2012

With inspiration from Tania, I also shopped my Pinterest boards to see what outfits I have pinned throughout the year that  will work well as a hostess or guest to this holiday cocktail party.  Although it was a challenge to narrow them down, here are some of my favorites.

I love this black and white color blocked outfit.  The long maxi skirt screams comfortable elegance to me.  Perfect for an at-home party.  Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the original source of this outfit so I decided to re-style it so I could give you some sources.  I would skip the shoes – you’re at home so relax, kick off your shoes, just make sure you have a fabulous pedicure – maybe a bright cherry red for a pop of color.

This is another outfit I adored but wouldn’t you know, it is no longer available.  So with a little internet search, I restyled and sourced it just for you.

Here are some other sparkly, glitzy, and glamorous budget friendly outfits for your shopping pleasure.

Chevron and sparkle from White House Black Market – so fun and stylish.

Bright Kelly green is festive and would be a lovely splash of color against our glitz and glamour backdrop.  I saw this gorgeous dress on Pinterest but again, had trouble finding the source.

But not to worry, a little snooping around ASOS and I was able to find a fantastic alternative for $150.  Woo Hoo!!!

This gold medallion dress from ModCloth is fun and versatile and a great price point.  It can easily work for many holiday celebrations.

Feeling a bit ambitious and want to step into the DIY realm for your outfit.  Check out this feather skirt for P.S. I Made This.  So fun and it looks pretty easy to make – no sewing involved.

It’s not just the outfit, it’s about the entire look.  How about a great up-do to pull the look together.

Polish off the look with a sparkly manicure and golden make-up.

Stunning!!!  Such hot looks!!!

Now that both, our home and hostess, look amazing, time to plan the bar and fun cocktails.  Visit tomorrow to pick your signature cocktail.  Cheers!
